DESCRIPTION:Leader Martin Johnsson\nMeet at the car park off the Therfield 
 Road\, which overlooks McDonalds (TL337403)\, i.e. NOT the Sporting Club c
 ar park) at 6.00pm.\nThe date has been chosen as potentially the optimum t
 ime for seeing and photographing Chalkhill Blues\, the heath’s most famo
 us resident butterfly (but other mini-beasts will be around\, as well as w
 ild flowers)\, and to avoid my holidays!\nCamera equipment could include a
 ny close-focussing lens (ideally macro\, but also a standard lens). Teleph
 oto or telephoto zoom lenses could be used\, but are not ideal. I don’t 
 use a tripod and I work in natural light for this type of photography\, bu
 t a tripod or mini-pod and flash or on-camera LED may be of value.
