22-Sep-16	Barrie Hatten	Open	Projected Image	This is a POTY competition. Images may be of any topic. Images can be either colour or monochrome. Images to be sized to fit within 1400 wide by 1050 deep pixels.
20-Oct-16	Jane Goodall	Monochrome	Printed Image	Any black and white or monochrome image can be entered for this competition. A black and white image which has been modified by the addition of a single tone to the entire image is defined as a monochrome print. A black and white image that has been modified by the addition of partial toning or by the addition of one colour to any part of the image is a colour print and would not be an acceptable image for this competition
10-Nov-16	John Margetts	Mobile Phone Competition	Projected Image	Images to be taken on a mobile device. Subject matter is open. Images may be edited using software. images to be sized to fit within 1400 wide by 1050 deep pixels.
24-Nov-16	Adrian Stone	Vintage	Print	Subject matter must be old. For example but not exclusively, vintage cars, historical reconstructions, clothing, battles, old buildings
19-Jan-17	Naomi Saul	Dusk to Dawn	Print	Images to be taken outdoors between dusk and dawn. Images may include shots taken at sunset or sunrise.
02-Mar-17	Gerry Metcalfe	Motion	Print	Image composition must convey the impression of both motion and preferably drama. Subject matter is open.
23-Mar-17	Daphne Hanson	Open	Print	This is a POTY competition. Images may be of any topic. Images can be either colour or monochrome.
27-Apr-17	Colin Strong	Photographers	Print	This is a POTY competition. Images taken of photographers who are not aware of themselves being your subject.Please do not set up anyone to be knowingly the subject.The images can be domestic or street shots and to illustrate the total absorption of a photographer in the process of capturing their own desired image, No selfies allowed, but you can take images of someone doing a selfie
15-Jun-17	Paul Radden	Portfolio	Print	This is a standalone competition Each member may enter one portfolio of three prints on a theme of their choice. The theme must be written on the back of each image in the portfolio, along with the authors name and the date the image was captured. The images can be either mounted individually or placed on one mount. If the images are mounted individually, the images should be numbered 1 to 3 in the order they are to be displayed. The maximum mount size is as per normal competition rules. If the images are placed on one mount, then this mount must be in landscape orientation. The maximum size for this mount is three times the maximum mount size as per normal competition rules. Images can be either colour or monochrome. The judge will be asked to award points on photographic merit as well as relevance to declared theme.
29-Jun-16		End Of Year	Print	This is a standalone competition The theme of this competition is open. Each member may enter one image. For this competition the members of the club will judge the images.
